We had an iftaar party at Shirin's home a few days back. Now this was something Shirin had been planning for us before Ramadan even started. It was special because a large group pf friends was invited and above all, - Shirin did all the cooking ! Preparing 13 dishes, all by yourself for so many friends sure takes a lot of effort. I was wondering whether I have the capability of cooking something on that magnitude..now thats a lesson deriving thought I better do something about ;)

Cool! Cooking for 13 people is very hectic.. Trust me. I have cooked for 8 and thats the max.

Glad to know that you guys had fun. But I personally believe that all our activities during Ramadan should be simple, be it be our dresses, Iftar parties, or dishes or whatever we do, after all that's the whole point of this month right?

@ Tauqeer - I believe in the same thing. As you can see I wore a simple lawn dress which I would've worn party or no party. And the party was simple too, nothing lavish or extravagant about it. I mean we wouldn't ve been eating on a dastarkhwaan were it a high profile party :D And having someone open their fast is a rewardable deed in Islam in itself..:)
